Terms of Service

The terms that apply to applying for, and taking part in, the Bubba Startup Core Program.

Last updated 10 August 2026

1. Who we are and what these terms cover

Bubba Startup is a selective, application-based startup program — a 10-week Core Program built by Bubba Academy and powered by Productized OS. These terms govern your use of bubbastartup.com, the application process, and the founder portal.

Where you and Bubba Startup have signed a separate program agreement, that agreement governs the program itself and takes precedence over these terms wherever the two differ.

2. Application and acceptance

Applying does not create an agreement, reserve a place, or guarantee acceptance. Every application is reviewed individually, and we may decline any application at our discretion without giving reasons.

You agree that the information in your application is accurate and that you are applying on your own behalf. If you are accepted, we will contact you with next steps, program dates and payment instructions.

3. Program access

Program access begins when your place is confirmed and your program is activated, and runs for the program length set out in your agreement. Access to the founder portal is personal to you: your login credentials are not to be shared, and program materials are provided for your own use and may not be redistributed, resold or published.

The program is delivered in stages. Progression is mentor-reviewed: your next stage opens once your mentor approves the current one. Stage deadlines may be adjusted by agreement — for example where a stage is paused, or where review time or an agreed extension applies.

We may suspend access where fees are unpaid, where these terms are breached, or where required for security or maintenance.

4. Fees, payment and wire verification

Program fees are those stated at the time you are accepted, in your agreement or invoice. Fees are payable in advance of activation unless a written payment schedule says otherwise.

Where payment is made by bank wire, your place is activated once the funds are received and verified against your invoice. Verification can take several business days and is outside our control. Bank charges, intermediary fees and currency conversion costs are your responsibility.

We will never change bank details by email alone. If you receive any communication appearing to change payment details, do not act on it — contact us first using the details on this site.

5. Refunds, cancellations and chargebacks

Refund and cancellation terms are those stated in your program agreement. Where no agreement term applies, fees for a program that has been activated are non-refundable, because a place is reserved and mentor capacity is allocated to you from activation.

If we cancel a program before it begins, or cannot deliver it, we will refund the fees paid for the undelivered program.

If you believe a charge is incorrect, contact us first so we can resolve it directly. Raising a chargeback or payment dispute without contacting us may result in program access being suspended while the dispute is investigated. Nothing here limits any statutory rights you may have.

6. What the program is — and what it is not

The program is education, structure and mentorship. It is not, and must not be relied on as, legal, tax, accounting, investment, financial, regulatory, intellectual-property or medical advice.

Bubba Startup is not a law firm, accountancy practice, investment bank, broker-dealer, investment adviser, or fundraising or capital-raising service. We do not raise capital on your behalf and we do not introduce you to investors in exchange for a success fee.

We do not guarantee any outcome. In particular we do not guarantee funding, investor or accelerator acceptance, revenue, sales, customers, product-market fit, patent or trademark grant, regulatory approval, launch success, or an exit. Startup outcomes depend overwhelmingly on your own execution, your market and factors none of us controls.

Any figures, timelines, examples or case studies shown are illustrative. They are not projections, promises or typical results.

7. Professional advice is your responsibility

You are responsible for obtaining your own qualified professional advice before making decisions with legal or financial consequences. This includes company formation and structure, contracts, employment and contractor arrangements, equity and cap-table decisions, tax and accounting, securities and fundraising compliance, data protection, industry and product regulation, insurance, and intellectual property — including patents, trademarks, copyright and trade secrets.

Where the program covers these topics, it does so to help you ask better questions of your own advisors, not to replace them. You remain solely responsible for decisions you take about your business.

8. Your business, your intellectual property

You own your business, your ideas and everything you create during the program. We claim no ownership, equity or revenue share in your venture by virtue of your participation.

Program materials — frameworks, workbooks, lessons, templates and tools — remain the property of Bubba Startup and its partners, and are licensed to you for your own use during and after the program. They may not be redistributed, resold, or used to deliver a competing program.

You are responsible for ensuring your own work does not infringe anyone else’s rights.

9. Confidentiality

We treat the substance of your venture as confidential and share it only with the people delivering your program. We ask the same of you regarding other founders’ ventures and any program material shared in a group setting.

This does not apply to information that is already public, that you make public, or that we are required to disclose by law.

10. Third-party tools and services

The program references and may require third-party tools and services. Those are provided by their own operators under their own terms and pricing, and any subscription or usage cost is yours. We are not responsible for their availability, pricing, security or performance, and any tool referenced may change or be replaced.

11. Acceptable use

You agree not to attempt to gain unauthorised access to the portal or to any other user’s account or data, not to disrupt or probe the service, not to scrape or bulk-extract material, and not to use the program to do anything unlawful. We may suspend or end access for breach of this section.

12. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Subject to that, our total liability arising out of or in connection with the program and these terms is limited to the fees you have actually paid to us for the program. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, business, goodwill, opportunity, anticipated savings or data.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the program develops. The date below shows when they were last updated. Material changes affecting a program already under way will be notified to participants, and will not change the commercial terms of an agreement already signed.

14. Contact

Questions about these terms can be sent to hello@bubbastartup.com. Please include the email address you applied with so we can locate your record.

These terms are provided for transparency about how the program operates. They are not legal advice to you, and you should take your own advice before entering any commercial agreement.
